The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph the exclusive right to reproduce your photographs. It is illegal to copy or reproduce photographs in any manner, this includes but is not limited to scanning, and/or copying from a website into a computer without the photographers written permission. Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties.
